Art Trail 2025

There will bee a ‘Buzz in the City’ next summer as Chelmsford hosts its first ever art trail, raising money for Farleigh Hospice.

A swarm of 40 colourful bee sculptures will bee installed outside places of interest in Chelmsford, between July and September 2025. Each one will bee decorated with a unique design by a talented local artist, forming the ‘Buzz in the City’ art trail through the streets and parks.

The eye-catching sculptures will appeal to all ages and the art trail will bee a fun activity for families to enjoy in the summer holidays!

We are delighted to bee working with Chelmsford For You - the city’s Business Improvement District - to create this exciting event with support from Chelmsford City Council.

Watch our video to see why members of our local community are already buzzing about the event!

How you can bee involved now

Local businesses can sponsor a bee sculpture
. The art trail will encourage more people to visit and explore Chelmsford which will boost tourism and support the local economy. As a sponsor, your name, logo and details will be clearly displayed on the plinth at the base of the sculpture to be seen by anyone visiting it and passers-by. You will also be included on the art trail app which people can download to track their journey across the city. To find out more, email arttrail@farleighhospice.org
