Garden owners from across the beautiful village of Terling will be showcasing their gardens.

Terling Place is the family seat of the Strutt family, and home to Lord and Lady Rayleigh and their family. The gardens are usually closed to the public so this is an exciting opportunity to visit. It’s a Grade II listed house built in 1775 using Flemish Bond brickwork. Set across 30 acres, the garden comprises formal lawns, rose beds, and flower borders. A ha-ha to the rear of the house overlooks open fields while a collection of azaleas and rhododendrons provides a blaze of colour! Special features to look out for include a walled garden, an arboretum, and a swan pond.

Entry to the event is via wristband and programme.

Advance booking can be made by clicking on the above “Book a place” link or from any of the Farleigh Hospice shops. Please exchange your payment confirmation email or shop ticket for an event programme and wristband at Church Green, Terling Place, CM3 2PQ. Use what3words https://w3w.co/clicker.wording.revived

On the day, programmes and wristbands are available to purchase from Church Green, Terling Place, CM3 2PQ or any open garden (look for the promotional estate agent boards).
