Why donate?

Our shops are a valuable source of income for us, and last year brought in £1,243,000!

This incredible amount would not have been possible without the support of our local community, and we will always be grateful for donations of good quality items that we can sell.

What to donate

Our shops sell a wide variety of items, including:

  • Books
  • Cameras
  • CDs and Vinyl
  • Clothing
  • DVDs
  • Furniture (including dining sets, sofas, and bedroom furniture)
  • Ornaments
  • Tableware
  • Toys & Games
  • Wedding attire & gifts

If your items are of good quality, and are not on the list of items we cannot accept (see below) then please consider donating them in any of our shops. Or, if you have larger items that might need collection or if you are unsure whether we can accept a particular item, please call 0303 99 99 007.

Please note, we do accept mobile phones to be recycled.

What not to donate

Our supporters are amazing, and the donations we receive surprise us on a daily basis. Unfortunately, we are not always able to sell the items we are donated, meaning that every year we are forced to pay a considerable amount in disposal fees.

When considering an item for donation, please think about whether you would be willing to pay money for the item in its existing condition.

We are unable to accept the below items, for reasons associated with Trading Standards, Health & Safety, or lack of demand.
