Why donate?

Our shops are a valuable source of income for us, and rely on the support of our local community for donations of good quality items that we can sell.

What to donate

Our shops sell a wide variety of items, including:

  • Books
  • Cameras
  • CDs and Vinyl
  • Clothing
  • DVDs
  • Furniture (including dining sets, sofas, and bedroom furniture)
  • Ornaments
  • Tableware
  • Toys & Games
  • Wedding attire & gifts

If your items are of good quality, and are not on the list of items we cannot accept (see below) then please consider donating them in any of our shops. If you have larger items that might need collection, or you are unsure whether we can accept a particular item, please call 01376 331871.

Please note, we do accept mobile phones to be recycled.

What not to donate

We are grateful for your donation however we may sometimes be unable to collect the items you offer us. This may be because it does not comply with fire safety regulations, but also sometimes because it would be hard to sell. Farleigh has to bear the cost of disposing of any items we are unable to sell so we need to ensure that items are saleable before we accept them.

Listed below are examples of items we do not accept. If you are unsure whether we would be able to take your item, please call 01376 331871.
