You'll assist the Therapies Team and carry out many varied roles to meet the needs of patients referred to those services.

What you'll do
  • Carry out Therapy interventions (following necessary training) with patients under the direction of the qualified staff and/or Therapy Assistants
  • Work with individual patients in their own home or on a day hospice site teaching appropriate skills - e.g. fatigue/breathlessness management; relaxation; anxiety management; creative therapies
  • Complete rehabilitative care plans with patients as directed by the Qualified staff members
  • Assist the team with the development and running of groups & activities
  • Report any significant outcomes to other professionals at the end of an intervention
  • Record intervention on patient files as appropriate
  • Support with audit work as necessary
