Temporary access to Farleigh Hospice
We wanted to let you know that Farleigh Hospice is currently carrying out renovation works to create additional patient rooms within our hospice unit.
Improvements are underway to enhance our hospice care
These improvements will help us continue providing high‑quality, compassionate care to more of those who need it. In addition to the extra rooms in our inpatient unit, we are also extending and upgrading our Café.
Accessing the building:
The main reception and driveway to the hospice will be closed (only accessible by contractors and their vehicles)Visitors to Farleigh Hospice will need to enter the building through the temporary entrance which is via the Lantern Suite side door (adjacent to the car park and bike shelter on the right of the building) during office hours 9.00am to 4.00pm.
Counselling clients will also be able to enter via this door after 4.00pm – please use the doorbell if there is no one on the reception and your counsellor will meet you at the door.
There will be no access from one side of the building to the other via reception and no entry to the hospice building via reception. To cross the building, you will need to go through the temporary access corridor which is located through the café. On your first visit, a member of the reception team will accompany you.
