Team Leader, Bereavement Service Job Ref: 1815DS Hours per week: 22.5 Type of contract: Permanent Salary: £33,083 to £37,275 pro rata per annum, dependent upon experience Closing date: 2 March 2018 Interview date: 15 and 16 March 2018 Farleigh Hospice in Chelmsford provides specialist palliative care to the population of Mid-Essex. Our bereavement service, CIRCLE adult bereavement support provides support, counselling and group work to the bereaved population of mid-Essex. We are looking to recruit a qualified and experienced Counsellor who is accredited or working towards it, to lead the bereavement service. Offering counselling, leading groups and to provide support and information as part of the bereavement service, you will also be responsible for the day to day running of the service. As a member of a multi-professional team you must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and able to work with adults addressing complex issues of loss and bereavement managing your own caseload of complex clients. In addition you will be managing closely a team of bereavement volunteers providing support, training and supervision. A key part of this role is to develop the service and ensure it is integrated in to the mid-Essex community. With an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Counselling and experience of working with clients who are bereaved, plus experience of working with volunteers this could be your next exciting opportunity.
