Creating a Farleigh Hospice Everlasting Tribute Fund is a unique and meaningful way to celebrate and remember the life of someone special, whilst supporting the caring work of the hospice.
However you choose to manage the Tribute, it is your space to make personally yours. A place to reflect and remember, to help you in your bereavement and beyond for as long as you choose.
A Farleigh Hospice Everlasting Tribute is a unique online place where you, your family and friends can honour and commemorate the life of a special person. You can dedicate an individual tribute to celebrate their life in your own personal way, or mark a date that is special and meaningful to them. Friends, family and colleagues both near and far can share memories via the tribute and very often people make a donation in lieu of flowers at the funeral.
You can invite family and friends to:
- Upload photos and videos
- Leave messages of support and remembrance
- Share memories and stories about the person the fund is honouring
- Set up fundraising events and sponsored activities in memory of your loved one
- Light a candle and mark special dates or anniversaries
- Give donations in memory
Tribute raises over £11,000 in aid of Farleigh Hospice
"Last year, the idea of one of Farleigh’s patients created an entirely new concept for the hospice for its tribute fundraising. Andy Glew turned in-memory giving on its head during his time at the hospice, working with the fundraising team to create Farleigh’s first ever living tribute.
Andy was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer, in July 2019 and was given four months to live. Soon after his diagnosis, he was referred to Farleigh Hospice. It was during this time that Andy approached the Farleigh fundraising team about creating a living tribute page to raise money. He wanted to do it while he was alive, so that he could have an input into the design of the page and to encourage his friends and family to fundraise in support of the hospice.
Sadly, Andy passed away at the end of March 2020, but through his family’s and friend’s support, his tribute page continues to raise money in his memory and has raised over £11,000 to date."
What your Everlasting Tribute fund means to Farleigh Hospice
Any funds raised through your Farleigh Everlasting Tribute will help us to continue providing outstanding care to people affected by life-limiting illnesses.
We help patients to live as actively as possible from the point of diagnosis to the end of their life, by providing physical and emotional care. We also provide support for families and carers, and for people who have been bereaved.
