We are proud of the relationships we have with our existing corporate supporters, whether they be small local businesses or large multinationals, but we are always looking for new and exciting ways to work together with other organisations.

We are continually improving and delivering more services throughout the whole of mid Essex, and without the support of local businesses we wouldn't be able to continue providing this care completely free of charge. In 2016/17 we provided care and support for 8,257 people - this wouldn't have been possible without our generous supporters.

Nominating Farleigh Hospice as your Charity of the Year will enable your company to form a strong link with an important local charity, and at the same time generate funds which make a real difference to families affected by life-limiting illnesses in our community.

Charity of the Year partnerships also engage employees, motivating them to get involved and help reach a set goal. And of course you can all have lots of fun while you do it!

Take part in our £50 Challenge

Our annual £50 challenge gets more competitive each year, and joining in is simple! We provide you with a £50 note, generously donated by Birkett Long, and then you have 3 months to turn it into as much money as possible. We host an awards ceremony in September to present our winners with certificates and prizes.

Matched and Payroll Giving

Matching the amount of money that a member of your team has raised can help to support and incentivise staff both in their fundraising and their work and sends out a positive message to your colleagues, customers and suppliers. You can increase the value of your employee’s gift by matching their gift or by putting a cap on the gift so that you maintain control.

Payroll Giving is one of the easiest and most flexible ways to give to Farleigh Hospice. Payroll Giving is the only way of giving to charity that allows full tax relief on donations, with very little cost to the company. A Payroll Giving Agency will handle the transfer of all these donations for you and pay them directly to Farleigh Hospice.

It isn’t all about the money. By by donating equipment, food, services, expertise or even allowing us free access to a venue you can help us to reduce the £16,039 it costs to run our services every day. Raffle prizes are also greatly appreciated, as these often generate much more income than their actual value.

Supporting Farleigh Hospice through promotions is another great way to demonstrate your company's charitable nature to both potential and existing clients and customers, and can also increase awareness of your business to a wider audience.


eBay for business

Susanne Gibbons, co-director of Frames by Post, got in touch with us after realising that using eBay for Charity was greatly beneficial to both her business and Farleigh. Susanne, whose company sells photo frames, mirrors and wall art, wants to spread the word in the mid Essex business community.

"We chose Farleigh Hospice as the charity we wished to donate to as a number of our staff have had personal experience of the good they do and the invaluable help they offer. I am sure that there are a number of companies in Essex that sell in the same way we do and that could take advantage of this to raise money for their chosen charity.We list a product for sale and mark it as an ‘eBay for Charity’ item. When the item sells, 10% is donated to Farleigh, and eBay gives us a 10% reduction in seller’s fees. Each eBay for Charity item has a blue and yellow ribbon next to it, and we think many people, when looking at a few similar items, will choose the charitable option.

"The items that we sell as eBay for charity items have become our best sellers. We had no idea this would happen, we just wanted to give to charity, so it is a bonus for us! It has very little cost impact on the company but creates massive financial results for the charity; we started in September 2015 and to date we have donated £7427.88 to Farleigh."
