Farleigh Hospice exists to meet the needs of local people affected by life-limiting illnesses and to support those who have been bereaved. By giving people choice and involvement in the care they receive we make a real difference when and where it matters most.

We are seeking nurses with a commitment to delivering high quality palliative care to the Mid Essex community to join our Triage Team.

Quality care starts with our excellent triage team who work with patients to identify their individual needs and refer onwards within the Hospice as required. The team use their specialist knowledge and skills to ensure patient pathways are responsive and appropriate to the needs of patients.

Strong links with the Hospice Rapid Response teams, Community CNS’s and Hospice at Home all ensure the patient experience is positive.

The successful candidate will have highly developed communications skills and knowledge of Palliative care. Excellent time management and an ability to prioritise are essential to the post.
