About us Latest updates Pride of Britain Awards Image Credit: ITV News A well known supporter and committed fundraiser of Farleigh Hospice, Will Arnold, has been nominated as a finalist for the East Anglia region in the Pride of Britain awards. There are four finalists in total and one will be selected as the region's nominee at the national awards. This is obviously great news for Will as well as us here at Farleigh Hospice! Katie, Will's wife, died at Farleigh Hospice when she was just 29 - only three days after they got married. Since then he's been committed to fundraising for important causes, often by running marathons, and has earned the moniker 'Marathon Man'. So far Will as managed to raise £3000 for Farleigh Hospice and £10,000 for Bowel Cancer Research. ITV, one of the hosts of The Pride of Britain Awards, recently visited both Will and Farleigh Hospice for a video featuring his story, and included comments from both Will and Farleigh Hospice Chief Executive, Alison Stevens. The whole Farleigh community would like to congratulate Will on his wonderful achievement! You can watch the video entry and read more about The Pride of Britain Awards and Will's journey here.
