Families & carers Information, support and advice Information, support and advice If you are ill, bereaved, or worried about someone who is, our Information Service team will be able to point you in the direction of helpful information, support and advice. They can offer help and advice on treatment, local services, general hospice information or more complex and in depth issues. Information Pod at Broomfield Hospital Working in partnership with Mid Essex Health Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support, the Information Pod is based inside the atrium near M&S at Broomfield Hospital. It is open Monday to Thursday from 9am-5pm, and from 9am-4pm on Fridays. You can contact the Information Pod on 01245 515981, or you can email the team at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hospice Outreach Project The HOP, our Hospice Outreach Project vehicle, takes the specialist services of Farleigh Hospice right into the heart of our community. A new timetable will be available later in the year, so check back to find out when it's visiting your local high street. For many life-limiting illnesses there are dedicated charities providing specialised information and support. Local support and services National organisations Additionally, our Social Worker can offer emotional and practical support relating to your life limiting illness to you and your family, and help you navigate the complex health and social care system, including access to Welfare Benefits.
