HR and Volunteer Assistant Job ref: 1826JT Hours per week: 15 (Thursday and Friday) Type of contract: 9 months Fixed Term (possible extension) Salary per annum: £16,684 to £18,801 pro rata Closing date: 25 April 2018 Interview date: 9 May 2018 We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic HR & Volunteer Assistant to join our friendly HR Team here at Farleigh Hospice, Chelmsford. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of a comprehensive and timely HR service to managers, staff and volunteers, through accurate and effective human resource administration and maintenance of records. Working 15 hours per week, Thursday and Friday, on a 9-month fixed term contract, with a possibility of a further 3 months extension. As part of the team you will not only be assisting with the day-to-day general HR administration relating to recruitment, etc, but you will also have the opportunity to take an active role in up-and-coming projects, such as the implementation of a new HR database.
