As we ease out of lockdown, why not meet up with friends over the May bank holiday weekend for a celebratory dog walk with a difference?!

Farleigh’s virtual Tails and Trails event is a fantastic opportunity for you and up to five friends to get some fresh air and exercise with your canine companions.

Don’t have a dog? Don’t worry! This event is suitable for lone walkers, families and dog owners alike. It’s a relaxed, friendly way to get outside and socialise in the spring air and support your local hospice at the same time.

With both 5k and 10k options, you can choose to walk, run or jog this sponsored challenge. The aim is to raise a minimum of £25 in sponsorship per group. All money raised will go towards helping our hospice at home care teams continue to provide home-based care and support to patients and their families.

Registration is just £15 per household which includes a celebratory medal for each participant, a stylish bandana for your dog plus some other treats to help you enjoy your challenge.

There will be some dog treats (kindly supplied by Fish4Dogs) for your four-legged friends to enjoy along with a wild bird spotter guide (supplied by Marriage’s), so that you can identify the birds you see as you take part. We’ll also include some Honeyfield’s wild bird food so that you can attract some of the birds you see during the challenge to your own garden.

Dog Bandana sizes:

Small = (35*35*50cm)

Large = (55*55*80cm)

The small is very small and for medium size dogs, we recommend sizing up to the large to ensure a comfortable fit.
