£3 suggested donation per adult, payable on entry

Situated overlooking the River Blackwater, the charming Blue House garden entices you in with a rose garden at the front. Next, it’s through the side entrance to the back of the house where you will find a traditional cottage garden full of flowers and shrubs. A formal pond includes fish, tanks for waterlilies and a wild life area. Finally, a new balcony with a developing roof garden has views out over the river and beyond.

Plants, homemade preserves/chutneys and refreshments will be available.

This event will be held in line with the current Government guidelines for COVID-19 secure events and gatherings. From the 17th May most legal restrictions on meeting others outdoors will be lifted and, while it is generally considered safer to be outdoors, gatherings over 30 people are not permitted. For this reason, visitor numbers within the garden will be monitored by the garden owner and you may need to wait to enter. You are also reminded to keep to a safe social distance from others outside of your household or support bubble.
