Visit 24 gardens throughout the picturesque villages of Danbury and Little Baddow, including six gardens that are new to the event this year. The various lockdowns over the past year have provided many home owners with more time to work on their gardens, so come any enjoy the fruits of their labour and take inspiration for your own garden.
Visitors from outside the area can start the garden trail at Wych Elm, Mayes Lane, Danbury, CM3 4NJ. Locals, and those more familiar with the event and with advance tickets, can start at any of the open gardens.
Plants and produce sales will be available in some of the gardens.
This event will be held in line with the current Government guidelines for COVID-19 secure events and gatherings. From the 17th May most legal restrictions on meeting others outdoors will be lifted and, while it is generally considered safer to be outdoors, gatherings over 30 people are not permitted. For this reason, visitor numbers within each garden will be monitored by the garden owners and you may need to wait to enter. You are also reminded to keep to a safe social distance from others outside of your household or support bubble.
