Christmas Tree Recycling
5 January - 7 January 2024
Now in its eighth year, Christmas Tree Recycling is back this January!
Our merry little Farleigh Elves are currently enjoying a well-earned rest. But they will be back this January to collect and recycle your real Christmas trees on the weekend of the 5, 6 & 7 January 2024.
Tree collections will take place across mid Essex including Braintree, Burnham, Chelmsford, Coggeshall, Danbury, Dunmow, Kelvedon, Maldon, Southminster, South Woodham Ferrers, Stock and Witham, as well as the surrounding villages and areas.
There are many reasons why registering for the Farleigh Hospice Christmas Tree Recycling campaign is such a great idea:
- Your tree will be collected from outside your home
- You won’t have to wait in a long queue at your local rubbish tip
- You won’t have a car boot full of pine needles
- Your tree doesn’t go to waste. Instead, it is chipped and used for biomass fuel or on pathways in local cemeteries and parks
- Your donation will help us to continue providing care to local people affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement
Save the date and when all the details are confirmed, we will be in touch. Register your interest with our Fundraising Team on 01245 457411 or email to treecollection@farleighhospice.org and you will be the first to know when we are open for Christmas tree registrations.
Volunteers
To run this event, we need the help of a team of volunteers. We welcome the support of businesses, organisations and individuals with their own vehicles. Ideal vehicles are large transit vans or 3.5-ton tail lifts. These might be used in your day-to-day operations or hired in for the event.
If you can help for just one day, two days or all three, please do get in touch with our Fundraising Team on 01245 457411 or fundraising@farleighhospice.org
