Following national guidance surrounding COVID-19 we have had to take the decision to postpone our forthcoming Bubble Rush event, which was due to be held on Saturday 20th June in Maldon. We have a new date of Sunday 6th September. As a local charity embedded in the community we feel the postponement of this family event is the right thing to do for the safety and welfare of our supporters, volunteers and staff. All participants who have booked tickets, have been notified by our fundraising team.

Our thanks and appreciation for your support and understanding. We do hope you will continue with us to our new date, the hospice needs you now more than ever. (We will need something to look forward to when better times come) and we will be working hard meanwhile to create the very best Bubble Rush experience for our new date of Sunday 6th September.

Bubble Rush Maldon 2020 FAQ’s.

Following recent government guidance regarding events in the UK, we have made the difficult decision to postpone this year’s Bubble Rush Maldon with the new event date being Sunday 6th September 2020.

What happens to my place now the event is postponed?

Your place will automatically transfer onto the new date. You do not need to do anything; we will send out further communications to you in coming months.

What is the new date?


Sunday 6th September 2020.

Can my friends and family still register for the new event date – Sunday 6th September 2020?


Yes of course. You can register on our website: https://www.farleighhospice.org/events/bubble-rush

I am volunteering for Bubble Rush Maldon, what happens now?


If you are still willing to volunteer for the new event date, then all your details will be transferred. If you cannot make the new date or would like to withdraw your application then please contact events@farleighhospice.org

Can I get a refund as the event is postponed?


No refunds are available.

I signed up to the October 2019 date which got postponed and now it is being postponed again. What happens now?

Your registration will automatically be transferred to the new date of Sunday 6th September 2020. We understand this is not an ideal situation and we apologise for disappointing you again, however on this occasion the decision to postpone has been taken out of our hands, as we must follow government guidelines. No refunds will be issued and if you would like to discuss this further please contact events@farleighhospice.org.

What if I can’t make the new event date?


Unfortunately, refunds are not available. To discuss other options please contact events@farleighhospice.org.

Can I transfer to another event, if I cannot make the new event date?


Unfortunately, due to the current situation we are unable to offer transfers to other events. To discuss further please contact events@farleighhospice.org

Family Tickets

Family (1 adult, 2 children): £40
Family (1 adult, 3 children): £50

Fundraising

This event has no minimum sponsorship. However if all 2000 bubblers could raise just £40 each we would be able to raise a bubbletastic £80,000.

Setting up a Just Giving page is easy and quick to do. You can simply share your fundraising page via social media and email, to encourage your friends and family to support you in raising vital funds for the Hospice.

Everyday we need to raise £16,000 to provide our vital services across mid Essex.
