Beeleigh Abbey Gardens Open Day in support of Farleigh

The owners of Beeleigh Abbey are generously supporting Farleigh Hospice on their 1 August open day this summer.
On Friday 1 August 2025, Beeleigh Abbey will open their gates to the public, with all proceeds from ticket sales being donated to Farleigh Hospice.
The grounds of Beeleigh Abbey include three acres of spacious and peaceful gardens in a historic rural setting, beautifully extended and revived in the last few years.
A wide variety of recent garden projects have added to the sense of scale within this glorious historic setting. The peace of the garden within this wonderful location will be enjoyed by all who visit.
Mature trees surround a variety of planting and water features: woodland walks under-planted with bulbs leading to the tidal River Chelmer, cottage and bog gardens, an extensive formal rose garden filled with over three hundred modern English roses, kitchen and soft fruit gardens, orchard, wildflower meadow, wisteria walk, and stunning eighty five metre long double mixed borders. Specimen trees include magnolia, tulip, and Indian bean.
Please note the house is not open to garden visitors. Only 1 August event is in aid of Farleigh Hospice.
