Farleigh Hospice is here for you during the COVID-19 pandemic but some of our services have changed. For more information call us on 01245 457300.
Farleigh Hospice is working on the frontline, caring for people living with a life-limiting illness and supporting the NHS and the mid-Essex community through the COVID-19 pandemic. We are also facing one of our biggest financial challenges since we first opened our doors nearly 40 years ago.
“We are facing immense challenges and huge pressures on our resources, but our hugely dedicated teams of doctors and nurses are out there dealing with emergencies and are working around the clock to deliver vital care to hundreds of people with life-limiting illnesses, and we expect more referrals in the coming weeks. We are also there for the NHS, preventing unnecessary admissions to local hospitals and sharing our expert knowledge on end of life care with hospital staff.
We know that this is a difficult time for everyone but Farleigh Hospice will continue to provide care to those who need it the most and we are appealing to our local community to give whatever they can to help us.” - Dr Eva Lew, Medical Director, Farleigh Hospice.
