Day Services provides opportunities for palliative rehabilitation, peer support, socialising, respite and taking part in activities. The focus is on enablement, empowerment, wellbeing, creativity and self-management. 

Using a range of specialist skills Day Services aims to:

  • Support you to better understand your illness and related symptoms, so you can plan ahead whilst living for each moment
  • Help you to live as independently and fully as possible
  • Offer you the opportunity to socialise and take part in activities

A variety of opportunities are available through our Day Services depending on your needs, including:

  • Traditional day centre days
  • Therapeutic activity groups – art and crafts, book club
  • Easibreathe support group
  • Seated exercise and relaxation
  • Self-management courses to support patients and carers
  • Spa days
  • Social drop-in sessions
  • Clinical outpatient appointments with hospice professionals most relevant to you and your needs, including counselling, social work, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, medical, spiritual care, carer support and wellbeing
  • Information, support and advice on your illness and accessing services you need

Day Services Clinics run regularly each week at both Day Service locations in order to assess and review your needs. You'll have regular reviews to make sure we're meeting your needs and working towards your goals and priorities.
