Make a real difference in your community as a Farleigh Hospice Trustee.

Do you want to make a real difference in your community as a Farleigh Hospice Trustee?

  • Could you add value to the overall governance and management of our charity?
  • Could you commit some of your time regularly to Farleigh Hospice?
  • Do you enjoy working with individuals who share your commitment and vision?
  • Would you like to play a part in delivering Farleigh Hospice's strategic plan and innovative vision for the future?

We have upcoming vacancies and are looking for applicants from ALL backgrounds. No previous experience required just commitment, curiosity and challenge.

Our trustees are responsible for ensuring that Farleigh Hospice is well led and delivers the highest possible level of care to our patients and their families. In order to achieve this, trustees must use their experience and abilities, working through committees and the board, to help ensure that the charity is adequately funded, spends wisely, acts lawfully and is managed professionally. The Board of Trustees typically meet six times a year (plus Awayday) and committees, and our successful Lottery company, meet four to six times a year.

More details about the organisation can be found on our website at www.farleighhospice.org and about the role of the Board of Trustees at www.farleighhospice.org/about-us/trustees.

So, if you enjoy a challenge and believe you have something to offer that could benefit our charity and the time to commit then we want to hear from you.

If you are interest in applying, or finding out more, please contact Alison Stevens, Chief Executive on 01245457337 or email alison.stevens@farleighhospice.org.
