Contracts were completed on Friday 24 January for our new hospice building in Maldon

Farleigh Hospice is incredibly excited to announce the purchase of a new building to deliver hospice services in Maldon. Contracts were completed on Friday 24 January for our new hospice building in Maldon, which can be found at 49A and 49B Mill Road.

The new hospice building in Maldon will offer a full range of services including day and therapy groups.

Farleigh has also launched this appeal to the community to help raise the final £100,000 urgently needed to support the refurbishments of the new site, which is due to open in the summer. There are many ways the community can support the hospice; from making a one-off gift or setting up regular donations, to hosting a fundraising event, every penny will make a huge difference to local people living with a life-limiting illness or bereavement.

Alison Stevens, Chief Executive of Farleigh Hospice said “This is a momentous moment in the history of Farleigh Hospice. We are so proud to once again have a Farleigh in Maldon. The new site is essential to ensure that everyone living with a life-limiting illness or bereavement within Maldon and the Dengie, can benefit from our services. To support the refurbishment of the new centre, we need the support of the local community to help us raise £100,000. Any donation you can give, no matter how small, will make a difference to our patients; helping us provide vital care and support in the heart of the community.”
