Farleigh Hospice Assisting the NHS throughout COVID-19

Farleigh Hospice is continuing to provide care and support to the community of mid Essex throughout the COVID-19 pandemic not just to our patients, but also to our local NHS hospitals.

The education team at Farleigh have been working hard to support the NHS by delivering end of life training courses for nurses, doctors and healthcare assistants at both Halstead and Broomfield Hospital.

The courses have been specifically developed as a result of the pandemic. They are designed to help healthcare professionals on how to care for people who are nearing the end of their lives and how to support their families and friends during this difficult time.

The support Farleigh is offering is an ongoing pledge to the healthcare workers of mid Essex. Farleigh will continue to share its expertise and knowledge and support the NHS so together we can respond to the pandemic, help frontline staff and care for those who need us the most.
