Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists set themselves a unique challenge for Farleigh!

Two of Farleigh's Clinical Specialist Physiotherapists Sally Davis and Natasha Ransome have set themselves a slightly different challenge. Sally was due to run the London marathon this year in aid of Farleigh Hospice. When this was postponed to October, Sally did not feel that, as a keyworker she would have the time or energy, to maintain her marathon training throughout the ‘Covid Summer’ but wanted to ensure that she earned the sponsorship money she had raised so far.

Sally and Natasha are keen paddle boarders so in lieu of the London Marathon, they are organising their own 26.2 mile challenge on their ‘stand up paddleboards’ (SUP) around the perimeter of the longest lake in England. Covid-19 permitting, ‘The Lake Windermere Challenge’ is aiming to held in Spring 2021. Dates will be confirmed nearer the time dependent on government guidelines and protocols in the Spring.

We look forward to receiving their training updates!
