Have Your Say

Farleigh Hospice invites the community to shape its future

For over 42 years, Farleigh Hospice has been at the heart of the community in mid Essex, providing compassionate care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses, palliative or end-of-life care needs.

From support at home to specialist care in our Inpatient unit, bereavement counselling to wellbeing therapies, our team works to ensure no one has to face the challenges of serious illness or grief alone.

We are proud to serve such a vibrant and generous community, and now, as we look to the future, we want to hear from you.

As we prepare our Strategic Plan for 2026–2029, we’re launching a public consultation called ‘Have Your Say’. This is your opportunity to help shape the next three years of Farleigh Hospice’s work.

Whether you’ve used our services, supported us, volunteered, or simply care about local hospice care, your voice matters.

We’re asking:

1. As well as end of life care, what other care or support should a person living with a life-limiting illness receive?

2. What services should Farleigh Hospice provide to best support the community?

3. Please describe what high quality hospice care looks like to you?

4. What factors are important in shaping a person’s experience of hospice care?

We’re committed to making sure that Farleigh Hospice meets the ever-changing needs of our local community and is an accessible and inclusive place for you and your family at the time you need our support.

Your feedback will guide our priorities, investments, and innovations over the next three years.

Alternatively, you can request a paper copy by calling 01245 457351

The consultation will be open until August 2025, and we hope to hear from as many people as possible.

Together, we can ensure that Farleigh Hospice continues to offer compassionate care to those who need it most – now and in the years to come.

Thank you for helping us shape the future of hospice care in mid Essex.
