We're thrilled to announce that our ever Bubble Rush event in Maldon was a complete success, with 934 bubblers raising over £62,000!

The event took place on Sunday 9th April 2017 in Maldon’s Promenade Park, and saw participants walking, jogging, and running 5km around a circular course which included 4 bubble stations with canons blasting out coloured foam.

We'd like to thank everyone who took part in the event, and everyone who has sponsored a participant. With the total amount raised currently at £62,460, this could fund 2 Registered Nurses and 1 Healthcare Assistant working full-time for a full year!

I am so pleased that our first ever Bubble Rush in Maldon was a huge success. Everyone who took part enjoyed the fun, splashing around in bubbles on a beautiful Spring Sunday raising much needed funds for Farleigh Hospice. We have had to temporarily relocate our hospice in Maldon and are currently selling the leasehold on our premises in Heybridge with the plan to move into a bigger and better building so that we can continue to support all those who need our care and support in the Maldon and Heybridge area for many years to come. Thank you to all our supporters for your ongoing generosity.

Alison Stevens, Chief Executive of Farleigh Hospice
