On Saturday 17th March, Farleigh Hospice reopened its South Woodham Ferrers charity shop after being closed for 2 weeks due to refurbishment. South Woodham Ferrers Town Mayor Councillor Pete Wyatt cut the ribbon at 10am. With lots of new stock and bargains to be had, the store was a bustle of people.

Tim Bradfield, Retail Operations and Development Manager said, “We are delighted with the new look. After a lot of hard work from our staff and volunteers and with a new range of clothes and toys it opened with great success. It’s really exciting to see such a transformation and I’m so proud of everyone who helped make it happen.”

The shop benefited from a new layout to make a more enjoyable shopping experience; new flooring, lighting and decoration, all of which has made a real difference to the feel of the shop.
