2017 has been a very busy year for our Bereavement Services, reflecting the growth both in our referrals and our team. We're currently looking into a possible Community Bereavement Centre, and would like to thank everyone who has given us their views on this.

In September, our popular Creative Arts & Crafts course returns, giving participants the opportunity to try a variety of activities including watercolour painting, photography, and card making.

In November, our Help Understanding Bereavement course will recommence with a six week course looking at what grief is, and why it affects everyone differently.

If you would like more information on either course, please call 01245 457308 or email [email protected].

Yo-Yo Project

In April, we held a music workshop to engage teens and help them express their loss in a different way. It was extremely well received, and we are planning to organise more in the future.

Our bereavement workshops for school staff continue to be well attended, and we have now trained over 250 people on how to support young people who are facing loss or bereavement.

We would like to extend our thanks to Jack Jordan (pictured above), who organised a fashion show in June which raised £298.39 for Yo-Yo.
