On Saturday 20th May 2017, AJ's Support Squad will be holding a Spring into Summer Fayre in aid of Farleigh Hospice, the Day Chemotherapy Unit at Broomfield Hospital and AMMF (Alan Morement Memorial Fund) for Cholangiocarcinoma.

The event will include clothing, jewellery, Miche handbags, face painting, beauty treatments, a raffle, tombola, refreshments and much more!

Entry is just £1, with free entry for children.

This Fayre is being held on behalf of Amanda Jane Lofting who died on 14th January 2017.

Amanda was diagnosed with Inter Hepatic Cholangiocarcinoma (a very rare form of cancer affecting the bile duct in the Liver) in March 2015. At the time of her diagnosis, Amanda was an Oncology Research Nurse at The Helen Rollason Centre, Broomfield, Essex.

With friends and family known as ‘AJ’s Support Squad’, Amanda raised in excess of £20,000 in 22 months.

The Spring into Summer Fayre was Amanda’s idea and she had booked the hall and Broomfield Hospital Radio to compère the day and her support squad are honoured to carry on with the Fayre in her memory.
