This summer, people across our community will be once again be opening their gardens in support of Farleigh Hospice, providing plenty of opportunities to enjoy a wonderful day out.

In 2016, our Open Gardens events raised nearly £24,000 through people opening their own garden or viewing other people’s. With the continued support of local community members, we're hoping that this year will be even more successful!


About Springfield

Following the outstanding success of previous events, Springfield will be opening up some of its stunning gardens once more. The charming church of All Saints, its stone walls and crenellated tower proudly marking the centre of the community near Springfield Green, will be open and serving refreshments. Car parking will be available at The Boswells School, Burnham Road, Chelmsford, CM1 6LY.


Ticket information

Admission by programme is £5 per person (under 16s are free). These are available in advance online, from Farleigh Hospice, and our charity shops in Moulsham Street and Broomfield Road, or on the day from the car park of Boswells School CM1 6LY.
