Our Information Services Team spend their time out in the local community, helping to provide information, support, and advice on a variety of issues, including:

Our Hospice Outreach Project (HOP) previously made use of a vehicle to tour mid Essex, giving specialist advice in locations such as schools, libraries, supermarkets, and community centres.

In 2016 we were forced to retire our HOP vehicle, due to mechanical defects. As a result, our community has seen a sharp decline in the services available to them - particularly in remote areas.

We're appealing to the mid Essex community to help us cover the costs of a new vehicle, so that we can continue having a mobile unit which provides a flexible, accessible range of services right into the heart of the community.

A range of specialist staff will be touring with the HOP vehicle, including specialist nurses who are able to provide information and advice on all aspects of hospice care. The HOP also acts as an education resource for healthcare professionals and the wider community.

Please help us to bring back our HOP vehicle. It is because you care that we can.
