Celebrating 40 years of care

Let us take you back to 1982...

It was quite a year, the Queen celebrated her Pearl Jubilee, Prince William was born, Britain received its first visit by a reigning Pope, and hosted the Eurovision song contest.

More significantly for the mid Essex community, Farleigh Hospice was established to support local families.

As we celebrate 40 years of providing care to those affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement, we invite you to reminisce with us by sharing your special Farleigh memories.

From your experiences of our hospice care, to your participation in our fundraising events - tell us your Farleigh moment and donate to our 40th birthday appeal.

Every mile you have walked, run or cycled in our name, every hour that you have volunteered, every time you’ve supported one of our shops, and every penny you have donated have played a vital part in our journey. We want to celebrate 40 years of shared memories with you, our supporters and friends.

When sharing your moments, the best birthday gift you can give us is to help us continue to provide special moments for patients and their families for the next 40 years by donating today.

You can donate online when sharing your memory by visiting farleighhospice.org/40-memories or by clicking the button above. You will also be able to donate without sharing a memory with us if you do not wish to.

Thank you for your continued generosity, it is because you care that we can.

Yours sincerely,

Jackie Wark
