Walk for Life

The 2016 Walk for Life took place on Sunday 22nd May.

Over 800 people joined our 24th sponsored walk, taking in the beautiful Essex countryside whilst raising vital funds for people affected by life limiting illness. They choose from two scenic routes:  a 12km walk from Papermill Lock to e2v Chelmsford, or a 24km walk from Heybridge Basin to e2v Chelmsford.

Last year walkers raised a phenomenal £73,000 in sponsorship money. Watch this space for our 2016 total – money raised will help us provide doctors, nurses, therapists and counsellors to local people in their time of greatest need.
