Ready to take on a challenge and raise funds for Farleigh? Walk for Life is back!
Advance bookings are now closed but you can join us by registering at your chosen start point on the day! See below for details. We cannot take on the day coach bookings. You can download the on the day sign up form or just turn up.
Get together with family and friends, soak up the beauty of the Essex countryside, and raise funds for Farleigh Hospice. Every step helps us provide compassionate care for people affected by life-limiting illness and bereavement.
Choose your route:
- 12km from Paper Mill Lock – a relaxed countryside walk
- Sign in from 9:15am, walk starts 9:30am to 11:30am
- 24km from Heybridge Basin – for those who want a bigger challenge
- Sign in from 8:15am, walk starts from 8:30am to 10:00am
Sign up on the day and enjoy a day of fitness, fun, and community spirit. You’ll receive a t-shirt and medal, plus the satisfaction of knowing you’ve made a real difference. Dogs are welcome too!
Please note: routes are not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.

Please note this is not a circular walking route. There are car parks at Heybridge Basin and Paper Mill Lock (charges apply). Further details are in the information pack.
