13 July 2009	Speciality Doctor, Palliative Medicine-Ref 0911KB Farleigh Hospice providing Specialist Palliative Care in Mid Essex Farleigh Hospice is a thriving charity with a 10 bedded Inpatient Unit located next to Broomfield Hospital. It also has a community team serving Mid Essex as well as two Day Hospices. The travelling time from London is approximately one hour. Job Title: Medical Officer / Speciality Doctor in Palliative Medicine, Community Hours: Part time [4 sessions] Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 pro rata (dependent upon experience) Reference no: 0911KB We have two exciting opportunities for experienced medical practitioners to join our multi professional team. Your work will be focused on the specific service according to the post and you will also be involved in other parts of the service and professional activity according to need. You will be part of a dedicated multi professional team, supported by medical colleagues. You will be an excellent team player and a good communicator. You will be part of a non-residential on call rota [1:5 pro rata]. You will have past registration experience in a hospital setting and be enthusiastic about Palliative Medicine and End of Life Care although you might not have worked in the field before.
