Volunteer Roles

VOLUNTEERING AT FARLEIGH HOSPICE

Do you want to make a difference to people’s lives or give something back to your local community; make new friends, learn new skills, or use your existing skills in a way that will be valued?

As a volunteer for Farleigh Hospice you can do all of these things and so much more.  In nearly all cases, whatever your skills, there is a way that they can be used.

Before taking on a voluntary role it is important to consider the length of regular service you will be able to offer Farleigh Hospice.  In roles involving patients and families, continuity of care is particularly important.  We would suggest you begin modestly and perhaps increase your involvement later, rather than over commit and drop out after a short time.

To find out more about volunteering opportunities please see our latest vacancy list, which will be updated every 4-6 weeks.  To download an application form, please click here.  For current volunteer vacancies please click here.  Once your application form has been returned we will contact you as soon as possible.
