I want to go the extra mile to care for local hospice patients.

Your support of the HOP appeal will enable Farleigh Hospice to develop a vital new mobile service that will bring hospice care to the heart of the local community.

The total amount we need to raise to purchase and equip this specially designed vehicle is £155,000, with a further £77,000 required for the specialist nursing and healthcare staff needed to operate the HOP and its services for a whole year.

In order to ensure a seamless service to patients when the Farleigh Day Hospice closes next March we urgently need to raise £70,000 to order the HOP as soon as possible. Whatever the size of your donation, you can help us go that extra mile for hospice patients in Mid Essex.

£15  could give the HOP enough fuel for a whole day.

£25  could provide an hour of one to one support from a specialist nurse in the consulting area of the HOP.

£50  could provide chairs for group and training activities in the public area of the HOP.

£150  could purchase the fridge for the HOP.

£240  with mid Essex covering 650 square miles, this amount could fund 1 square mile of care in your community.

£1,000  could help produce thousands of information leaflets to distribute to patients and their families.

£2,000 could fund the TV screens, projector and computer equipment to provide the HOP's vital education and information service.
