Day Hospice

Farleigh Day Hospices are happy places, full of laughter and provide a supportive service to meet day patients' needs.

Farleigh Hospice has two day hospices, one in Chelmsford and one in Maldon.  Patients can attend on a regular day each week or on a more flexible basis.  The day hospices provide patients with an opportunity for social interaction and relatives and carers with respite.

People who visit the day hospice feel supported by spending time with others who may be in a similar situation.  This can help them make informed choices about their care and how to live with the changes their illness may bring.

There is always a friendly ear where patients can voice fears or worries  without burdening their loved ones.  Delicious home cooked food is available for all patients.
