OPEN GARDENS - SANDON

11:00am – 5:00pm

An Open Gardens Day in the Parish of Sandon (situated 1 mile west of Danbury, Essex) will include at least 15 gardens of various sizes and styles to view in a traditional Essex countryside setting. Some gardens will be offering refreshments, ploughman’s lunches and cream teas.
Additional attractions will include a vintage/classic car display, a barbecue, craft sales and plant sales. Free taxi buses will go around the route continuously.
During the afternoon the Mayor of Chelmsford, Bob Shepherd MBE, will introduce The Royal British Legion Youth Band Brentwood (UK Supreme Champions) who will give a 1 hour performance at 3:00pm on the Village Green.
