The support that Farleigh Hospice offers to relatives and carers extends to bereavement care. The aim of the hospice is to allow patients to continue to live actively until they die and for their relatives to live on. We recognise the death of a loved one can be the time when relatives and carers need a lot of support.
Support is tailored to meet the needs of the individual and can take the form of telephone support, individual or group sessions. Farleigh Hospice also holds memorial services and has a book of dedication in the sanctuary. Our annual Light Up a Life services enable relatives to remember loved ones over the Christmas period by sponsoring a light on Christmas trees throughout Mid Essex.
Support also continues for children, allowing them to work through their emotions in a child friendly way.
If the time is right for you to update your Will you can find further information by clicking here. Farleigh Hospice relies on gifts in Wills to provide our care and should you decide to support us in this way we would be most grateful.
