Support and counselling

Farleigh Hospice has a team of people, including social workers, who work with patients, carers and relatives to provide emotional support.  A diagnosis of a life limiting illness may cause a large range of emotional responses from both patients and those close to them.  The team aims to help people deal with these issues and gain a greater understanding and acceptance of them.

Support and counselling is available both on a group and individual basis.  We also work with children where appropriate - for more information on this service please click here.

As well as this our social workers liaise with the appropriate statutory services and volunteer agencies and can give advice on a range of issues including benefits that are available.

If the time is right for you to update your Will you can find further information by clicking here.  Farleigh Hospice relies on gifts in Wills to provide our care and should you decide to support us in this way we would be most grateful.
