What Your Sponorship Can Do

The sponsorship money raised by people taking part in 2012’s ‘Cycle for Life for Farleigh Hospice’ will be transformed into high quality, specialist care which is relied upon by the people of mid Essex

 

At any one time Farleigh Hospice is providing essential services, totally free of charge, to around 1,400 people affected by life-limiting illnesses. To fund this care we depend on local people supporting fundraising events such as ‘Cycle for Life’, making donations and leaving gifts to us in their Wills.

The sponsorship money you raise by ‘Cycling for Life’ could mean the following:

If you can get 10 people to sponsor you £10 each, your sponsorship of £100 could fund a visit from our 'Hospice at Home' team and help support a patient within in your own home.

If you can get 20 people to sponsor you £10 each, your sponsorship of £200 could enable a patient to attend one of our day hospices for a day

.
If you could get 22 people to sponsor you £20 each, your sponsorship of £440 could staff and run our HOP vehicle for a day, helping to deliver the specialist services of the hospice in our community

If you can match our top fundraiser from last year’s ‘Cycle for Life’, your sponsorship of £1,950 could provide 24 hours of specialist care on our Inpatient Unit for 3 patients with the most complex of symptoms.
