Cost of service and how we raise the funds
The cost of running our specialist services increases each year as we care for an ever growing number of patients. Last year we cared for a total of 2531 patients through all of our services.
Total operating costs for the year 06/07 is £2.9 million for all of the services we offer. Of this we expect to receive a grant of £1.1 million from the NHS, for the rest we are entirely dependent upon the goodwill of the local community, which means that we need to raise nearly £5,000 each and every day to continue to run our vital services.
